- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (for balance, optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Ground Beef:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 5–7 minutes). Drain excess grease if needed.
Add Cabbage and Seasonings:
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the shredded cabbage and mix well.
Simmer Until Tender:
- Pour in the soy sauce (or Worcestershire sauce) and apple cider vinegar.
- Cover and cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage softens but still has a slight crunch.
Serve and Garnish:
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot on its own, or pair with rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
