Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large eggs
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and ground beef. Cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking the meat apart with a spatula until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Season the beef with salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Prepare the Eggs: In a small bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. Push the beef mixture to one side of the skillet and pour the eggs into the empty space.
- Gently scramble the eggs, stirring occasionally until they are fully cooked but still soft. Then, mix the eggs with the ground beef.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve hot on its own, with toast, rice, or wrapped in a tortilla for a quick and tasty meal.
